Loose Women panellist GK Barry, real name Grace Barry, appeared alongside her mother Loretta on Friday’s episode of the ITV show, discussing their close relationship. The 24-year-old, who joined the panel in August 2024 as the youngest panellist in the show’s history, invited her mum to join her on set.
During the segment, lead panellist Kaye Adams asked whether the pair see themselves as best friends. Grace replied: “You’ve been my mum when I was younger, but now I’m older you’re my mum still but we’re friends.” Loretta agreed, adding: “We have a laugh when we go out.”
Loretta also spoke about visiting Grace in the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle, where Grace finished fifth. She admitted to a fear of heights and said she had to cross four suspension bridges. “It’s not a set,” she said, noting that the camp felt smaller in person than on TV, and confirmed that the contestants really do eat the food shown.
Grace, who also appeared on the 24th series of I’m a Celebrity alongside Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall, made her Loose Women debut in 2024. The episode aired on Friday, March 28, and also featured panellists Myleene Klass and Nadia Sawalha.
