Frozen 3 co-directors Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy have dropped a major hint about a wedding storyline in the highly anticipated upcoming Disney animated film. The revelation came during a special Disney+ Insider segment filmed at the World of Frozen attraction in Disneyland Paris' Disney Adventure World.
Wedding Plans Confirmed During Character Meet
While approaching actresses portraying sisters Anna and Elsa during a meet and greet event, director Jennifer Lee initiated the conversation by stating, 'We hear there are big wedding plans happening.' The performer playing Queen Anna responded enthusiastically with, 'Oh, yes! I'm so excited.'
Co-director Trent Correy then inquired whether Anna would be handling the wedding planning herself. The character teased in response, 'Olaf said he likes to be in charge of all the party planning in Arendelle, and he told us that he and Kristoff had been planning a really big surprise for the Snowflower Festival.'
Returning Cast and Creative Team
The third installment of the beloved Frozen franchise will see the return of key voice actors including:
- Kristen Bell as Anna
- Idina Menzel as Elsa
- Josh Gad as Olaf
Additionally, songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who created the memorable music for the first two films, are confirmed to return for Frozen 3 according to a 2024 Variety report.
