Emmerdale is set to air dramatic and worrying scenes later this month as Mackenzie Boyd faces grave danger. Spoilers for the week before Christmas reveal a kidnap plot that could see the character killed, depending on what his mystery abductor is after.
After a row with Charity Dingle, Mack storms out and walks into the path of danger. He will be shown unconscious and unresponsive, bound to a chair in an abandoned factory. His fate is not confirmed, but it is teased he could be in a bad way if not rescued.
The kidnap comes as soap producer Laura Shaw teased a major secret about Mack's sister Moira Dingle will come to light. She revealed: "It's a secret from her past... If they blow it, it could threaten Moira's whole life."
Laura also teased more drama in the Chloe plot, as Mack's ex teams up with her mystery father. Chloe took revenge on Mack recently and fled with his baby son Reuben. Laura said: "Chloe's dad is not someone to be messed about with... When she reaches out to him, what we will see is him helping Chloe in his own unique way."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
