Emmerdale: Chas Accuses Liam and Manpreet of Affair After Murder Mystery Trip
Emmerdale: Chas Accuses Liam and Manpreet of Affair

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) accuses Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) of having an affair after spotting them getting out of a car together. The confrontation escalates, but Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) steps in to explain that all three were actually at a murder mystery event.

Chas's Plan Backfires

Chas is upset that Liam didn't invite her, and his explanation only makes things worse. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) finds her later, he suggests she prove Liam's assumptions wrong. The next day, Chas puts her plan into action, unintentionally traumatising Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) in the process.

Paddy is horrified to find Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) lying in the vet's surgery with a knife in her back. When Chas and Liam arrive, it becomes clear that the scene is a setup, part of a surprise for Liam. He is giddy to discover that Chas has organised a murder mystery day just for him and wastes no time searching for clues.

A Dangerous Turn

As the day goes on, Liam's enthusiasm wanes, leaving Chas disappointed. But the game takes an exciting turn with the arrival of a gun-toting stranger, Dave, who is an acquaintance of Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). Liam allows Dave to tie him up, believing it's part of Chas's scheme.

When Dylan arrives, he is instantly terrified, and it becomes clear that Liam has severely misjudged the situation. Dave explains that Dylan ratted him out to the police, and he is here to seek revenge. It finally dawns on Liam how much danger he is in.

Hostage Crisis

Things only get worse when Marlon and Chas arrive. Dave knocks Marlon out, and Liam and Chas try to talk him down, but their attempts are unsuccessful. Dave takes Chas hostage, leaving Liam helpless.

The situation leaves viewers wondering whether they will get out of this alive.
