Emily Blackwell Hits BAFTAs After Surprise Wedding and Hen Do

Made In Chelsea star Emily Blackwell has party hopped from a wild cowgirl-themed hen do to the BAFTA TV Awards, just days after her surprise wedding. The reality star, 30, tied the knot with her husband Jordan Oldershaw last week before enjoying a boozy hen do. On Sunday, she looked incredible as she stepped out for a more formal occasion at the annual TV awards.

Red Carpet Glamour

Emily turned heads in a burgundy one-shoulder maxi dress that showed off her sensational figure. Posing up a storm on the red carpet, she completed the look with nude heels and accessorised with gold jewellery.

Hen Do Festivities

The awards show came just a day after Emily gave a glimpse inside her Western-themed hen do. Sharing a photo dump on Instagram, she wowed in a white bodycon dress covered in small rectangular mirrors. The reality star teamed it with a white cowboy hat with shining silver beads around the rim and the word 'Mrs' glittering in gems on the front. She finished the look off with a stack of silver bangles and a small silver statement necklace. Other snaps from the event include a vintage heart cake reading 'Bride' and photos with her friends. The star captioned the post with: 'Texas hold 'em,' followed by emojis of a white heart, a cowboy, and a glass of wine.

Surprise Wedding

Last week, Emily tied the knot with her husband Jordan as she took to Instagram to share stunning snaps from the day. Captioning the post: 'Mr and Mrs,' the couple wed at the five-star Corinthia Hotel in London. Emily wore a stunning long-sleeved white gown featuring a small train and detailed buttoning up the back. She beamed in snaps with her husband and the couple's daughter Eva June, 18 months, who was dressed in an adorable white dress for her role as a flower girl.

Future Celebrations

However, it seems this is just the beginning of the celebrations, as several of the couple's friends hinted in the comments that there will be a part two in Mallorca. Last year, Emily lifted the lid on a heartwarming role their baby daughter would play on the big day. She told The Mirror: 'I need to do some [wedding planning]! We're planning on getting married in 2026, so I've got a bit of time. Eva will be a little flower girl too, which is lovely. My main focus for our wedding is to have fun.' Emily admitted: 'I just want it to be enjoyable – I don't want to stress about it. I just want it to be a celebration and not a big wedding.'

Engagement Story

The reality star also couldn't contain her excitement at the prospect of becoming a wife, although revealed there is 'too much' going on this year for the couple to squeeze the wedding into 2025. She and Jordan got engaged in August 2024 after the businessman popped the question during a lavish Florence getaway. The pair had been dating for two years, and Emily took to her Instagram at the time with the good news as she proudly showed off her gorgeous diamond ring. They couldn't wipe the smiles from their faces as they celebrated amid their sun-soaked trip to the very swanky £1,500-a-night Villa San Michele Hotel. Emily looked effortlessly chic in a black strapless mini dress as they dined al fresco following the surprise proposal and took in the Italian city's spectacular views. She captioned the post: 'MR&MRS OLDERSHAW… COMING SOON 10.08.2024'. Jordan is the CEO of a consulting agency and the couple often keep social media followers up to date with their lavish holidays.
