Emily Atack, best known for her role in The Inbetweeners, is juggling wedding preparations with a busy professional schedule. The 36-year-old actress is set to marry her fiancé, Dr Alistair Garner, in September, and has described the planning process as thoroughly enjoyable. She told Luxury London: 'I think I've nailed it. We're getting married in September.' She added: 'I've very much enjoyed the planning process. Choosing napkins and stuff. I'm like, 'My God, my life is here!''
Meanwhile, Atack is starring in the Disney+ adaptation of Jilly Cooper's steamy novel, Rivals, alongside Danny Dyer. During an appearance on the Rivals Season 2 Official Podcast, she revealed that she has seen her co-star Rufus Jones naked 'more than my own partner' this year. The comment came after Jones discussed filming a scene where his character dances around naked after a shower. Jones admitted the scene was challenging due to a small shower set, while Atack joked about the frequency of his nudity on set.
Atack also shared that her character Sarah Stratton's pregnancy storyline in Rivals drew on her own experience of first-time motherhood. She gave birth to her son Barney in 2024 and confessed she often finds it hard to look at him 'without crying' because she 'loves him so much'.
In addition to her acting work, Atack is co-hosting ITV's new strategic reality quiz, Nobody's Fool, with Danny Dyer. The show premieres on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on Saturday.
