EastEnders viewers are growing increasingly worried for Vicki Fowler after Joel Marshall made disturbing comments towards her during Monday's episode. The troubled teen, who has already caused chaos by releasing Stacey Slater's secret footage online, told Vicki she needed a 'good slapping'.
The shocking confrontation began when Joel called Avani a 'murderer' for terminating her pregnancy, which resulted from a one-night stand with him. He raised his hand as if to strike her, but Vicki intervened and escorted him home.
Once there, Joel launched a verbal attack on Vicki, accusing her of controlling his father Ross. He said: 'My dad's your doormat, you walk all over him. You pick away at him until he forgets he's a man. You will never control me the way you control my dad!' He then threatened: 'Push me, and you'll soon find out a proper slapping will do you the world of good.'
Fans took to social media to express their alarm. One wrote: 'Joel just said what to Vicky?? #EastEnders', while another predicted: 'Oh Joel is soooo gonna do something awful to Vicki!' A third added: 'Whoever first speculated that Joel will attack Vicki - I think you're right.'
The episode also saw Joel visit Ravi's house to find Avani, leading to a tense confrontation. Ravi attempted to attack Joel but was restrained by Priya, who warned him it was 'what he wants'. Viewers are now left wondering how Ravi will react when he learns of Joel's latest abuse towards his daughter.
