Sharon's return coincided with her sister Vicki Fowler's wedding, after she had been away with Michelle Fowler. The episode also featured a double exit twist, with Grant and Sam Mitchell fleeing Walford following drama with Max Branning.
Sharon had left suddenly late last year, made a brief return, and then disappeared again, making Tuesday's episode her first appearance in 2023. Her return follows the surprise comeback of Whitney Dean earlier this week.
