EastEnders fans believe they have uncovered a dark secret about newcomer Josh Goodwin, drawing parallels to his biological father Anthony Trueman. In scenes aired on Tuesday (24 March), Jasmine Fisher reacted with distress upon learning her twin brother Josh was in Walford, leading viewers to suspect he may be responsible for a past tragedy.
During the episode, twins' mother Zoe Slater missed visiting Jasmine in prison after Josh agreed to speak with her. Jasmine, devastated by the snub, tearfully told grandmother Kat Slater she would plead guilty to murdering her biological father Anthony. Fans noted Jasmine's cold reaction to Josh's arrival and speculated about their shared history.
What is known so far is that something happened between Jasmine and her foster father Keith when she was eight, after which Keith died and Jasmine was given up, while Josh was adopted by foster mother Sandra.
