The nine-episode season launched on May 15 with episodes titled 'The Untold Want' and 'Earn Another Day'. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Fridays, with the season finale scheduled for July 3. Each episode runs between 45 and 60 minutes.
New cast members include Ed Harris as veterinarian Everett McKinney and Annette Bening as rival rancher Beulah Jackson. Filming took place in Ferris, Texas, with production beginning in August 2025.
Paramount+ describes the series: 'As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together - far from the ghosts of Yellowstone - they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire.' No second season has been confirmed yet.
