Devil Wears Prada Star Adrian Grenier Nearly Unrecognisable in Forgotten Netflix Series Clickbait

Adrian Grenier, best known for his role as Nate in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada, is nearly unrecognisable in the Netflix thriller series Clickbait. The eight-part mini-series, which fans have described as 'binge-worthy', follows family man Nick Brewer, played by Grenier, who becomes embroiled in a kidnapping plot and is accused of terrible crimes.

The show's synopsis teases: 'A video appears on the internet of the badly beaten Nick holding a card that says "I abuse women. At 5 million views, I die". Is this a threat or confession? Or both? As his sister and wife rush to find and save him, they uncover a side of Nick they didn't know existed.'

Grenier's co-stars include Zoe Kazan (The Big Sick), Betty Gabriel (Get Out) and Jaylin Fletcher (Snowpiercer). Fans may recall Grenier's divisive character Nate from The Devil Wears Prada, who has been branded the film's real 'villain' for his lack of support for Anne Hathaway's character. Grenier himself has admitted Nate was 'a fragile, wounded boy'.
