The second season of French war drama Dark Hearts kicks off with plenty of action. Set in 2016 Iraq, the series from director Ziad Doueiri (of Oscar-nominated The Insult) begins sombrely as Group 45 toast goodbye to Olivier. The pace quickens when an intelligence agent arrives to assist the rescue mission for Sab, but an attack on the French consulate derails all negotiations.
Viewers can expect a tense and gripping continuation of the story, with high-stakes military operations and political intrigue. The show promises to deliver the same intense drama that characterised its first season.
