Dani Dyer shares sweet Strictly support from husband Jarrod Bowen
Dani Dyer reveals Jarrod Bowen's sweet Strictly support

Dani Dyer has shared the sweet way her footballer husband Jarrod Bowen has been supporting her Strictly Come Dancing journey, after he was seen making a couple of appearances in the famous ballroom.

The former Love Island winner tied the knot with the footballer in May 2025 shortly before she was announced as a participant on last year's run of the BBC One dance show. But, as fans know, Dani was forced to withdraw from the 2025 run of Strictly after she suffered an injury, fracturing her ankle, just days before the first live show of the series.

Second chance at Strictly

She was left gutted by the exit, but Dani was given a lifeline earlier this year when she was revealed to have been given a second chance at the competition, joining the line-up for the 2026 series, which got underway last month and saw Dani reunited with professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Since re-joining the show, Dani has been showered with support, including from her West Ham star husband, with whom she shares twin daughters, Summer and Star, while Dani is also mum to her son, Santiago, from a previous relationship, who has been seen in the ballroom, as well as her actor dad, Danny Dyer.

Weekly flowers from Jarrod

Ahead of her next live performance, with Dani and Nikita set to return to the ballroom this Saturday (October 24), Dani has shared the sweet way Jarrod is showing his support each week. Posting a picture of a vase of flowers, with a note which read: "Another week. This is your week. Love you lots. JB," she wrote on her Instagram Story: "My weekly flowers from the best husband I could ever ask for [face holding back tears and heart emojis]."

Jarrod previously spoke about Dani returning to Strictly. In a post on West Ham United's website, he said: "For Dani, having broken her foot last year and been gutted not to do it, to see her get the opportunity again and just go out there and do the first dance last week was great."

Football comparison

"I suppose it’s a little bit like football in a way when you have your first game back after an injury, when you go out there and you do it, you're nervous as anything, but you get through it and come out the other side and she's done really, really well!"

"Strictly is something that is always watched in our house, especially on the weekends when it's performance time, and I watched Week 1 on TV with the kids. It’s such a big show for Dani to go and do, as everyone’s watching it, and I rang her straight after the show and just said ‘You’ve done it! You’re doing it! This is what you have been waiting for!'"
