What's New in Season Two?

Picking up after the dramatic birth of Gemma's daughter, Sadie, the new season delves into the challenges of new motherhood and grandparenthood. Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey reprise their leading roles as Gemma and her father, Malcolm.

Speaking about the new storyline, Aimee Lou Wood revealed that while the birth of Sadie brought Gemma and Malcolm closer, a new obstacle emerges. "At the start of the new series Gemma and Malcolm are slightly disconnected thanks to Gemma’s mum Davina," she explained. "She’s come back and pushed Malcolm out, so he’s back living at Derek’s whilst Gemma is adjusting to her new life as a mum."
