Coronation Street couple Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) are reportedly heading for a split just months after their wedding, according to fan speculation. The couple, who first began their romance in 2024, have faced numerous obstacles including Carla's health struggles, the return of her killer brother Rob Donovan, and the reappearance of Lisa's presumed-dead wife Becky Swain.
Wedding and Recent Drama
After Becky was imprisoned for 12 years, Lisa and daughter Betsy cut ties with her, allowing Carla and Lisa to reignite their relationship. They married in April, becoming the first two women to successfully wed in Coronation Street's 65-year history. However, their wedding day ended with Betsy discovering the body of Theo Silverton.
Betsy's London Plans
Recently, Betsy revealed she had been accepted at a fashion college in London. While Carla was overjoyed, Lisa was more cautious. Fans now speculate that Betsy's departure could lead to empty nest syndrome, straining Carla and Lisa's relationship.
