A new trailer for the upcoming soap crossover Corriedale has confirmed that at least 19 characters from Emmerdale and Coronation Street will be caught up in a devastating car pile-up. The trailer, released during ITV's The Big Quiz, teases multiple deaths, with actor Jack P Shepherd hinting that more than one character will perish.
Among the confirmed characters are Cain Dingle, Charity Dingle, Shona Platt, Kevin Webster, Aaron Dingle, Lisa Swain, David Platt, Tracy Barlow, and Liam Cavanagh. The trailer also features Kit Green, James Bailey, Asha Alahan, Carla Connor, Abi Webster, Debbie Webster, Sarah Sugden, Jacob Gallagher, Robert Sugden, and Joe Tate. Chas Dingle actress Lucy Pargeter hinted she may also be involved.
The trailer shows scenes of panic at the crash site and hospital, with characters like Kit trying to control the situation and Carla frantic. Shona and David appear injured at the roadside, while paramedic Asha helps casualties. Pregnant characters Shona and Charity are seen at the hospital, with Charity comforting a distressed Shona. Abi and Kevin search for missing Debbie, and Robert desperately looks for Aaron.
Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, said: "People will die," suggesting more than one death. The crossover episode airs on January 5th, with lives set to change forever. Further details remain under wraps.
