Coronation Street Spoilers: Sam Update, Gary and Sarah Rumbled

Coronation Street is set to deliver explosive scenes next week, leaving viewers gripped to their screens. The ITV soap provides a major update on Gary Windass and Sarah Platt, who have been acting suspiciously while hiding a huge secret following the murder of Theo Silverton.

Gary and Sarah Update Leaves Maria Heartbroken

In upcoming episodes, Gary's wife Maria Connor becomes devastated after spotting Gary and Sarah sharing a hug. Gary insists they must delete all their messages. Later, a heartbroken Maria confides in Fiz and Izzy about her suspicion that Gary is having an affair with Sarah. She wonders if she can prove their alleged infidelity.

The next day, Todd tells Sarah that Maria suspects her of having an affair with Gary. Sarah faces a dilemma about whether to come clean to Todd about what she and Gary are hiding. Meanwhile, a somber Maria tells Gary they need to talk. Masking his unease, Gary suggests meeting for a curry later to discuss things.

Towards the end of the week, Gary reveals he has booked a surprise holiday for the whole family. Izzy, Jake, and Liam are thrilled, but Maria remains suspicious. She later confides in Izzy that she believes Gary is cheating on her with Sarah and booked the holiday to ease his guilt.

Meanwhile, Sarah's partner Kit Green makes significant strides in their relationship. Kit confides in Sarah's daughter Bethany that he is thinking of asking Sarah to marry him. Later, when Harry admits he likes having Kit around, Kit assures him the feeling is mutual. At the end of the week, Kit admires the engagement ring he has bought for Sarah.

Sam Update as Nick Is Left Devastated

In other scenes, Nick reels in shock as he waits for news about his son Sam. He turns on Ben Driscoll and Eva Price, blaming Megan's court case for Sam's problems. Eva assures Ben that Sam's help is not needed with the court case and that Will will handle it alone.

Later in the week, Nick is horrified to realize the extent of Sam's suffering. He lashes out at Ben, blaming him for failing to spot Megan's crimes sooner and causing Sam unnecessary pain. As the week ends, Sam tells Nick he would like to see Roy after the incident at the cafe.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV and ITV X.
