The Celebrity Traitors is approaching its series two finale, with the next episode set to air on BBC One this Thursday, October 22, at 8pm. The subsequent eighth episode will follow at the same time on Friday, October 23.
The current series, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, returned to screens earlier this month, featuring 21 celebrities in the Scottish Highlands. Among them, Claudia selected Richard E. Grant and Maya Jama as her initial Traitors, with the pair later recruiting James Acaster. However, the turret has seen several changes over the past two weeks.
Recent Traitor changes
Richard faced banishment after accidentally revealing his identity as a Traitor. Maya and James then invited Professor Hannah Fry to join them, but her time as a Traitor ended quickly when the Faithfuls banished her. The current Traitors are Maya, James, and their latest addition, King Kenny.
A synopsis for episode seven reads: "As a new day dawns, breakfast brings a fresh shock for the Faithful. In the mission, the celebrity players are taken to a mysterious location where the Traitors must work as a team under tense circumstances."
Series two finale date
Audiences will wait six days until the next instalment, which broadcasts on Thursday, October 29. The series two finale will then air on Friday, October 30.
Supporters have already backed several contestants as their preferred 2026 champions, with comedian Miranda Hart gaining considerable support. One X user wrote: "Miranda has to win the whole thing it's all I can think about since Friday #CelebrityTraitors." Another added: "Oh I love Miranda, I need her to win pls #CelebrityTraitors," while a third commented: "Oh Miranda please win this #celebritytraitors."
Another viewer joked: "If our national treasure Miranda Hart does not somehow win, I propose a #NationalStrike and/ or rioting on the streets of the UK. #CelebrityTraitors."
The Celebrity Traitors continues this Thursday (October 22) at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
