Celebrity Gogglebox stars have been revealed to enjoy unusual snacks including baked beans, large spring onions, and bowls of radishes while watching television, according to Channel 4. The spin-off show, which first premiered in 2019, has become one of the channel's most popular programmes.

Eclectic Snack Choices

While crisps, chocolate, and popcorn remain favourites among celebrity viewers, the famous faces have also been spotted tucking into more unexpected choices. These include platters of smoked salmon, packets of Monster Munch, and elaborate grazing boards. One celebrity even requested a coffee machine.

Star-Studded Cast

Over the years, the series has featured a range of famous faces from entertainment, music, and sport. National treasures such as Tom Jones, Jennifer Saunders, and Dame Joanna Lumley have appeared, alongside contemporary stars including Hannah Waddingham and Jane McDonald. The latest series welcomes TV personality Olivia Attwood and her mum Jennifer, Harry and Matt (aka Nitro and Legend from Gladiators), and Strictly star George Clark with content creator Max Balegde.

Olivia Attwood, talking about being on the show with her mum, said it “was chaotic but in the best possible way.” She explained: “It’s not often that we agree on things which I think the viewers may find entertaining. My family are huge fans of the show so it’s a real honour to be a part of such an iconic British programme.”

Gladiators star Matt, aka Legend, also commented: “Everyone knows how good I am at being on TV, but turns out I’m even better at watching it. Wow. Absolutely incredible sofa performance. Anyway, I had a great time on the show and I need to say a massive thank you to Gogglebox for literally paying me to watch TV. What a time to be alive.”

Celebrity Gogglebox airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
