Can You Visit Fletchers Family Farm? What Fans Should Know
Can You Visit Fletchers Family Farm?

Fletchers' Family Farm, the home of former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz, is a private working farm and is not open to the public for daily visits. However, fans can still experience the farm through special ticketed events and by booking an overnight stay in its holiday cottage.

A New Life Away From TV

Kelvin Fletcher spent 20 years playing farmer Andy Sugden in ITV's Emmerdale, despite knowing very little about the countryside. Growing up in the urban area of Oldham, Manchester, farming was just an idea until he won Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.

He and his wife Liz then re-evaluated their lives, and two years later they bought a farm in Wincle, near Macclesfield, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Now far from the glitz and glamour of TV life, they and their four children spend their days tending to the land and their animals.

Special Events and Farm Stays

Although the farm is not open for daily visits, the family occasionally holds special ticketed public events during lambing season, Easter, or for farmers' markets. Fans are encouraged to watch the Fletchers' Family Farm Facebook page, which is regularly updated on upcoming events.

More excitingly, viewers can book to stay on the farm. The Fletchers have an on-site holiday cottage known as Stag Cottage, a beautifully restored property on their land that sleeps up to six guests. The cottage features three bedrooms, a cosy fireplace, and a private garden with a hot tub.

Guest Reviews and How to Watch

Stag Cottage is also near attractions such as Buxton Opera House, Capesthorne Hall, and Congleton Park. Previous guests have praised the accommodation, with one reviewer saying: "The cottage had everything we needed and we received fast and helpful advice and support from Liz. I'd recommend Stag Cottage as an idyllic, quiet and cosy home for anyone's restful holiday."

Another added: "It feels so homely as soon as you step inside. Very cosy and welcoming, beautifully decorated. A real gem! Very comfortable beds. We love how quiet it is. Kelvin and Liz were lovely and friendly. We would love to stay again!"

Fletchers' Family Farm continues every Sunday at 11.30am on ITV and ITVX.
