Netflix has released the final four episodes of Bridgerton's fourth season, concluding the love story of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and maid Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The season also follows Penelope Bridgerton (Nicola Coughlan) as she grapples with her public identity as Lady Whistledown and eventually passes the pen to a new author.
Throughout the series, the voice narrating Lady Whistledown's letters has been provided by award-winning actress Julie Andrews. Despite a change in accent in the season finale, Andrews remains the narrator, even as the identity of the new Lady Whistledown is kept secret for future seasons.
In her final words of the season, Andrews says: 'You thought I was gone for good, but far too much transpires for this author to remain silent. And so we are reunited. It is assuredly a reunion rooted in care and love. Though this time with a very different author.'
All episodes of Bridgerton Season 4 are now streaming on Netflix.
