Samuel West and Adrian Edmondson's birdwatching series 'Sam & Ade Go Birding' concludes on Channel 5 this week, with the final episode airing on April 28. The three-part show has followed the duo as they explored some of the UK's most stunning nature reserves, with the last instalment taking viewers to the Somerset Levels in search of a bittern, described as Britain's loudest and most mysterious bird.
West expressed gratitude for the positive reception on social media, writing on X: 'Thanks for all your kind comments about the series so far. It was a joy to make, and it's good to know so many people are finding it fun and useful. Positive thoughts for continued life.' However, it remains unclear whether a second series will be commissioned.
Filling the slot from May 5, Channel 5 will air a new series of 'Reuben: Life in the Dales'. The show follows 22-year-old Reuben Owen as he runs his own business alongside family and friends. The upcoming episode sees Reuben and his team building a sheep pen, while his younger brothers tackle a sheep shearing course. Reuben and his girlfriend Jess also organise a 70th birthday party for his father Clive at the highest pub in England.
'Sam & Ade Go Birding' is available to watch on Channel 5, while 'Reuben: Life in the Dales' returns on Tuesday, May 5 at 8pm.
