Big Brother reunion special confirmed to air on November 6
Big Brother reunion special confirmed for November 6

ITV has confirmed that a Big Brother reunion special episode is on the way, with fans set to see this year's cast together one last time. The reality series returned last month for the fourth edition of the social experiment since it switched broadcasters.

Streaming success and viewer growth

The channel has confirmed that the branding as a whole has surpassed 200m streams on the streaming platform ITVX. That includes 37m streams for the current series alone and has been boosted by a 58% increase in viewership compared to the main show and companion series Late and Live last year.

Several fans have already claimed that this year could be "one of the best" as they were instantly captivated by a diverse and dynamic cast. Their individual personalities, evolving relationships and unpredictable antics provided no shortage of drama.

Reunion details and hosting

Now, fans can look forward to Big Brother: The Reunion. Taking place after the final and hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, the special 60 minute show will bring together this year's cast for one last time, which will air on Friday, November 6 on ITV2 and ITVX.

Set against the unmistakable backdrop of the Big Brother house, the series' stars will reunite to revisit the moments, friendships and fallouts that defined their time in the house. Fans are told to expect big revelations, unfinished business and plenty of drama as they look back on the moments that had the nation talking and reveal where they stand now.

Official statements and fan anticipation

As the news was announced, David Smyth, Commissioner, Entertainment & Reality, ITV said, "Big Brother has created some of the most iconic and talked-about moments in reality TV this year, and we're looking forward to reuniting our Housemates to reflect on their unforgettable journeys. Viewers can expect plenty of surprises, laughter, and perhaps a few scores to settle."

Katy Manley, Managing Director, Initial added: "Big Brother 2026 has been an absolutely fantastic series. Our incredible Housemates have given us some unforgettable TV moments, and we couldn't be happier with the success of the series. We're thrilled that ITV have asked us to make a reunion show - what better way to round off an incredible series by bringing everyone together to look back at their time in the iconic Big Brother House."

Three years ago, one fan asked on the Big Brother UK subreddit: "Why doesn't Big Brother do reunion shows? I truly think that throwing all of the housemates in a room and asking messy questions would be the best bookend to a season possible. It would make for amazing TV and would provide a lot of answers that don't make the show". A year later, someone else brought up the topic again and requested: "We need a full sat down reunion interview in depth almost like real housewives style. I want carnage."

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
