Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) removed the head of one of her dolls with a pair of scissors in Tuesday's EastEnders episode, grinning with glee over having successfully torn Honey and Billy Mitchell (Emma Barton and Perry Fenwick) apart.
Bea's obsession with Honey deepens
The troublemaker, as fans know, is obsessed with Honey, the only resident of Albert Square to give her the time of day. Despite Bea having taken out a credit card in Honey's name, Honey is determined to see the good in her mate, refusing to believe she'd lie about Billy trying it on with her.
Poor Billy therefore wasn't believed, despite insisting that Bea's voice recordings of him making advances were the work of AI. After Bea played the recordings aloud in the Vic, Honey fled the pub, devastated at both Billy and Bea for making such a public display.
Manipulation reaches new heights
Bea was quick to manipulate the situation to her advantage. When Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) stumbled upon a dating profile for Billy on an online service — set up by sinister Bea — the final piece of the puzzle fell into place. Billy sought advice from Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), who fought his cousin's corner, but with Bea in her ear, Honey refused to believe her husband, asking him to leave at once.
Bea successfully secured another night in Honey's home. In a bid to make her presence felt, she removed a number of knitted dolls she'd made from her bag, placing them on the shelf in the living area — covering photographs of Billy and Honey. To make the situation even darker, she then took one of the dolls and cut its head off.
What's next for Bea?
The question is: is Bea happy with having eliminated Billy from the equation, or is she planning on making his departure a bit more permanent? The situation escalates further this week and next, so viewers are urged not to miss the unfolding drama.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or streams from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
