Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have kicked off the countdown to Christmas with a new teaser for the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, according to ITV.
For the second year running, the broadcaster is marking the 'official' start of the festive season by launching a first-look promo for the reality show, now in its 24th year. The 2026 series is expected to air in early November, following Salford's Angry Ginge being crowned King of the Jungle at the end of last year's series.
New Start Date and Promo Details
The planned original start date of Sunday, November 15, has reportedly been pushed back due to ITV's coverage of the UEFA Nations League. England are due to play Spain in Madrid, with the 8.45pm kick-off clashing with the reported start time for the series.
The new trailer, released on Monday (October 19), shows Ant and Dec as festive conductors leading a choir of carol singers through a rendition of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' with an I'm A Celebrity twist. Gold rings and turtle doves are swapped for 'vomit smoothies' and 'two tonnes of mud' as the seven-piece choir, in Christmas jumpers, endure bushtucker terror. "Isn't it the most wonderful time of the year," Dec says at the end of the promo.
Line-Up Rumours and Previous Teaser
The promo teases an all-new camp of celebrities, though the official line-up is yet to be confirmed. Rumoured names include Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page, and Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu.
The new teaser follows a social media post that read: "Oh, the bushtucker trials are frightful, but the campfire's so delightful....I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Returning soon to ITV1." ITV said: "As always with I'm A Celebrity… expect the unexpected."
