The official countdown to the festive period has begun as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has launched its official 2026 trailer. The return of the beloved ITV show signals to many Brits each year that Christmas is officially on the way.
Ant and Dec's 26th Year in the Jungle
The upcoming series marks Ant and Dec's 26th year in the jungle. For the second year running, the broadcaster is rewriting holiday traditions by signalling the beginning of the festivities with a brand new first-look promo of the show.
In the new advert, the Geordie duo can be seen conducting a choir of carol singers in cosy Christmas jumpers and Busher Tucker trial goggles as they perform a rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas with an I'm A Celebrity style twist.
A Festive Twist on Bushtucker Trials
In the teaser clip, gold rings and turtle doves are swiftly swapped out for "vomit smoothies" and "two tonnes of mud" as the seven-piece choir endure wave after wave of bushtucker terror at the command of the conductors' hands.
After the group are left covered with creepy crawlies and gunk, Ant turns to the camera and grins, saying: "That's really got me into the spirit." As Dec echoes: "Isn't it just the most wonderful time of the year?"
New Camp and Viewing Figures
The promo also teases an all-new camp of celebrities. However, the brave stars who will be travelling down under for a whole series of jungle surprises are yet to be announced. As always with I'm A Celebrity, fans are told to expect the unexpected.
Now into its 26th series, the beloved show continues to be one of ITV's most watched programmes. Last year's series alone launched with 11.3m viewers. Across all platforms, the 2025 series reached 23.4m people, which is 38 per cent of the TV population.
Who Will Be Crowned This Year?
YouTuber Angry Ginge was crowned King of the Jungle last year, but who will ascend the throne this year? While no start date has officially been announced, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! typically returns in mid November each year. Fans will need to keep their eyes peeled for an upcoming start date.
