Andrew Pierce has confirmed he is leaving ITV's Good Morning Britain after a decade on the programme. The GB News host, known for his regular debating appearances, announced the news in a statement on X, formerly Twitter.
In response to speculation about his departure, Pierce wrote: "Not a suggestion. It's a fact, next week sadly is my last on @gmb, but viewers can tune in to see me presenting on @GBNEWS from 9.30am Monday to Thursday."
Fans quickly reacted to the announcement, with many expressing sadness at the loss of his on-screen dynamic with fellow regular Kevin Maguire. One viewer commented: "Will miss you. The banter between you & Maguire has me ranting at the telly most mornings." Another added: "I don't know a lot about politics, but I always thought the pairing of you and Kevin Maguire was entertaining."
Pierce had hinted at his departure during Wednesday's edition of the show. While discussing public interactions with Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, he remarked: "Not for much longer, sadly," when the subject of his partnership with Maguire arose.
Pierce will continue to present on GB News from 9.30am Monday to Thursday, as well as co-host his podcast with Kevin Maguire.
