Amanda Owen, star of 'Our Yorkshire Farm', has rejected suggestions that anyone else was involved in her separation from husband Clive. The couple, who have nine children, announced their split in June last year after 21 years together, leading to the cancellation of their popular Channel 5 show.
The 48-year-old mother insisted there is 'no problem' between her and Clive, 68, and that they continue to work together amicably. Speaking to Mail Online, she said: 'There was nobody involved in the break up with Clive and I don’t understand why this is being suggested.'
Owen, who now lives in a separate farmhouse on their land, described herself as an 'independent woman' focused on looking after her children and sheep. She emphasised that the split has been 'very amicable' and that co-parenting is going well.
Appearing on ITV's Lorraine, Owen addressed her family situation, stating: 'It's not a big story. I feel there's so many people in similar situations. That's the reality, we all have to get on with it.' She also discussed her new glamorous look and the importance of self-care, even while managing farm duties.
Owen previously told The Mirror that her children cope well when she is away, thanks to years of training. She said: 'The nature of what we do means there’s always something to be done, so they can bake, cook, even tidy up.'
