What is Last Tango in Halifax?
First broadcast on BBC One in 2012, the programme chronicles widowed pensioners Alan (portrayed by Derek Jacobi) and Celia (Anne Reid) who rediscover each other via Facebook nearly 60 years after parting ways. When the former childhood sweethearts reunite and marry, their vastly contrasting families are thrust together.
