The Madison's Stellar Cast and Their Notable Roles
Paramount+'s brand new modern Western drama, The Madison, is rapidly emerging as a streaming sensation, crafted by the acclaimed creator of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan. With the first three episodes now available, this six-part epic has already captivated audiences and secured a renewal for a second season. The series follows a wealthy New York family compelled to relocate to Montana after a devastating tragedy, as they navigate the challenges of rural life and discover new possibilities amidst stunning landscapes and welcoming neighbours.
Leading the Ensemble: Hollywood Icons Reunite
The series is headlined by two cinematic legends, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, who portray husband-and-wife duo Stacy and Preston Clyburn. This marks their first major collaboration since the 1988 film Tequila Sunrise, nearly four decades ago. Pfeiffer, renowned for iconic roles in Scarface, Batman Returns, and Hairspray, also brings her Marvel Cinematic Universe experience as Janet Van Dyne, the Wasp. Russell, celebrated for his work in John Carpenter's cult horror classics like The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China, has also appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and currently stars in Apple TV's Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Supporting Cast: Familiar Faces and Rising Talents
Joining the lead actors are several recognisable performers. Patrick J. Adams, best known for his role in Suits, plays Russell McIntosh, the husband of Stacy and Preston's daughter Paige, portrayed by relative newcomer Elle Chapman, whose notable credit includes the Tom Hanks film A Man Called Otto. The supporting ensemble features:
- Matthew Fox (Lost) as Paul Clyburn, Preston's brother
- Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane) as Abigail Reese, the older daughter
- Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes) as Bridgette Reese
- Ben Schnetzer (Y: The Last Man) as Van Davis
- Kevin Zegers (The Rookie: Feds) as neighbour Cade Harris
- Rebecca Spence (Power Book IV: Force) as Stacy's friend Liliana Weeks
- Alaina Pollack (On Call) as Macy, Abigail's younger daughter
- Danielle Vasinova (1923) as Kestrel Harris
Guest Appearances and Upcoming Episodes
The series will also include a guest appearance from Will Arnett as Dr. Phil Yorn, though he did not feature in the initial episodes. Arnett is famed for comedic roles in Arrested Development and 30 Rock, voicing Bojack Horseman in the Netflix animated series, and recently starring in Bradley Cooper's film Is This Thing On?. Fans eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story can look forward to episodes 4-6, set to release on Saturday, 21 March, exclusively on Paramount+.
