Netflix viewers are staying up until the early hours to binge-watch Pieces of Her, a thriller mystery series that one fan finished in just three days.
In a TikTok post, a viewer named Pamela recommended the show for a next viewing session, saying: "If you guys are looking for a show on Netflix, I just finished this whole entire show in three days. That's how good it was."
Eight Episodes of Suspense
Pamela described the series as perfect for fans of thrillers and mysteries, noting that after each episode viewers want to watch the next one immediately. "It's just one season, eight episodes and I'm telling you, you're going to be addicted," she added.
Each episode of Pieces of Her runs for almost an hour, and Pamela confirmed she finished the entire season in three days before moving on to Homeland.
Plot Based on Karin Slaughter Novel
The series is adapted from Karin Slaughter's thriller novel of the same name. It follows a hidden past, a violent public incident and a mother-daughter relationship.
The story centres on Andy Oliver, played by Bella Heathcote, and her mother Laura Oliver, portrayed by Toni Collette, as they sit in a diner in Georgia, US, when a mass shooter attacks. Andy witnesses her mother eliminate the threat, and as she unravels the events of that day, her view of their relationship changes.
Figures from her mother's past soon reappear, forcing Andy to escape and search for the truth her mother buried long ago.
Viewer Reactions
Other viewers echoed Pamela's enthusiasm. One commented: "Piece of Her is so good. I just finished the first episode and it is tea." Another said: "Well I binge watched it all night. It was good. Think I'll do East of Eden when I get up later. Thank you and good night."
All episodes of Pieces of Her are available to watch on Netflix UK now.
