Masters of the Universe has rocketed up the Prime Video charts, settling at number two in the platform's global film ranking days after its streaming debut. The action fantasy epic previously claimed the number one spot earlier this week.
The film from Mattel's franchise arrived in cinemas in June and is the second live-action adaptation, following the 1987 movie starring Dolph Lundgren, Frank Langella and Courtney Cox.

Nicholas Galitzine, known for The Idea of You and Mary & George, leads as Prince Adam/He-Man, who must defeat Jared Leto's Skeletor and save the realm of Eternos.
The supporting cast includes Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Idris Elba as Duncan, Kristen Wiig and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.

Reviews have been mixed, with the film holding a 67% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes from critics. Audiences have been more generous, giving it an 86% Popcornmeter score based on more than 5,000 ratings.
