Luke Littler is set to front a new live Netflix show titled Beat Luke Littler, where everyday darts players will have the chance to go up against the world number one for a prize of £501,000.
How the Show Works
The live darts event is open to anyone, with 20 participants selected from open regional heats. Those heats will be held in Manchester and London in September. The show will air live on Netflix on Friday, October 30. Aspiring contestants can visit beatlukelittler.com for application details.
Littler's Challenge and Rise
In a video message, Littler read social media claims from people saying they could beat him, then looked at the camera and said: "Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let’s go." Littler began playing darts at 18 months old and reached the PDC World Championship final at age 16, losing to Luke Humphries. His breakout year came in 2024 when he won the Premier League and Grand Slam of Darts. He became the youngest world number one at the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship in January 2025 at just 17 years old.
MBE Recognition
When his MBE was announced in June 2025, Littler said: "This is an amazing and unexpected honour but one which I am very grateful for. To receive a recognition like this is something I had never thought would be possible and it is a proud moment. It’s unbelievable what I’ve done for my sport. I’m happy, my family is happy and I can’t wait to receive it."
