The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 Filming Begins, Fans Eye 2027 Release

Production on the fifth season of Netflix's hit legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer has officially begun, according to series co-showrunner Ted Humphrey. Humphrey shared a photo on Instagram showing a clapperboard from the set in Los Angeles, confirming that filming is underway.

Humphrey captioned the post: "We’ve just begun shooting Season 5 of #TheLincolnLawyer! And it’s going to fly by and land on @Netflix before you know it!" The clapperboard indicates that the first episode is being shot, with Humphrey serving as director for the episode.

While no release date has been announced, fans are hopeful that the new season could arrive in early to mid-March 2027, based on typical production timelines. Season four premiered earlier this year, and the streaming service renewed the show for a fifth season shortly after its release.

The upcoming season will consist of ten episodes and will adapt Resurrection Walk, the seventh novel in Michael Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer book series. The show follows lawyer Mickey Haller, who operates out of his Lincoln Town Car while taking on cases across Los Angeles.

Fans have expressed excitement in response to the update, with many saying they cannot wait for the new season. Filming is expected to wrap by July 2025.
