The first official trailer for the second season of Amazon's Fallout has been released, offering fans a glimpse of Macaulay Culkin's character, described as a 'crazy genius' Legion soldier. The series, based on the popular video game franchise, premiered in April 2024 and quickly became one of Amazon's most successful shows.
Season two, which will debut in December, picks up after the explosive finale of the first season. The trailer, set to Tommy Edwards' 'It's All In The Game', follows characters Maximus (Aaron Moten), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Lucy (Ella Purnell) as they journey through the Mojave Wasteland towards New Vegas. The Ghoul declares his intent to find his family, while a mysterious voice warns of an approaching war.
New characters are introduced, including Kumail Nanjiani's Brotherhood soldier and Culkin's Legion warrior. Showrunner Graham Wagner has confirmed that fan-favourite video game character Mr. House will play a significant role in the new season. Purnell described the upcoming episodes as a 'buddy road trip', hinting at evolving dynamics between the characters.
Earlier this year, Moten mentioned that the plan is for the show to run for up to six seasons, saying, 'We've always known that we're going to take our time with the development of the characters.' A third season has already been confirmed.
