Devoted fans of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton have been presented with a spectacular opportunity to dive into the show's new season ahead of its official release. With the fourth season split into two parts, the streaming giant is hosting an exclusive virtual event that grants early access to the premiere episode.
An Exclusive Invitation to the Ton
Netflix's official fan hub, Tudum, is organising the Bridgerton Season 4 Paris Masquerade, a special livestream event set for Wednesday, 14 January 2026. This virtual gathering offers attendees the chance to view the opening episode of the highly anticipated fourth season a full two weeks before it lands on Netflix for the general public.
To secure a spot, enthusiasts must RSVP via the Tudum events page by Tuesday, 13 January. The digital celebration will be broadcast live from the iconic Palais Brongniart in Paris, beginning at 5:30 PM GMT. The event promises interactive games, live chat discussions, and a series of red carpet interviews with the cast, who will share behind-the-scenes secrets from the new series.
Benedict's Romantic Journey Takes Centre Stage
Season 4 shifts its focus to Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. His story follows the popular romance novel 'An Offer From a Gentleman', where he becomes enchanted by a mysterious woman known as the Lady in Silver at a masquerade ball. Unbeknownst to him, the object of his affection is Sophie, a clever maid portrayed by Yerin Ha, who works for the formidable Lady Araminta Gun, played by Katie Leung.
The official trailer has already teased their fateful first meeting, where Benedict enlists his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie) to help identify the alluring stranger. Netflix poses the central question: "Will Benedict's inability to see these women as one in the same derail the undeniable spark between him and Sophie? And can love truly conquer anything?"
How to Join the Festivities and What to Expect
Fans keen to participate should visit the Tudum website and complete the registration process. After signing up, it is advisable to bookmark the event page. A reminder email will be sent out prior to the livestream. Organisers recommend accessing the viewing link several minutes early to ensure everything works correctly and have confirmed the stream will be available exclusively in English.
The event will culminate in a live virtual screening of Season 4, Episode 1. Tudum has also teased a "surprise" special performance that is sure to become the talk of the ton.
This season also introduces new characters: Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao) and Posy Li (Isabella Wei), the daughters of Araminta. Showrunner Jess Brownell hinted that while Rosamund is a "marriage mart pro chess player" like her mother, Posy is more dreamy and unserious.
For those unable to attend the special event, the wait is not too long. Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1 premieres globally on Netflix on Thursday, 29 January 2026. Part 2 will then follow on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
