Zara McDermott has opened up about living with boyfriend Louis Tomlinson at his north London mansion, describing their home life as "amazing" and calling the One Direction star her "Prince Charming."
The documentary presenter, 29, and the singer, 34, went public with their romance in June, and she "gradually relocated" into his home several months later.
Praising their 'balance'
McDermott praised their "balance" as the pair split their lives between LA, where Tomlinson's son Freddie is, and the UK, where her friends, family and work are based.
"We've lived together for a while now. Honestly, it's just been amazing. I genuinely can't even say one thing," she told Cosmopolitan for their latest cover.
"He's like my Prince Charming. He's like my fairy tale. He is genuinely the most amazing person I've ever met in my life."
Domestic life and tea lessons
McDermott added that Tomlinson is "the most empathetic, considerate, kind person" and that she "genuinely" thinks the world would be a "better place" if everyone was "a bit more like Louis."
Reflecting on their domestic life, the former Love Island star said there was a lot of lounging on the sofa, watching TV and having tea and biscuits. She added that Tomlinson, who is from Yorkshire, was appalled by how she makes her tea and has since taught her to make a proper cuppa, insisting: "Let it brew."
Romance confirmation
As for how they met, the reality star remained coy and said that that information was "sacred" to them as a couple.
They confirmed their romance on Instagram last summer when McDermott posted a picture of the pair kissing, with Tomlinson responding: "I love you." The moment was met with enthusiasm from both families, with McDermott's brother commenting "beautiful couple" and Tomlinson's sister writing "love love."
Although it is believed that they started dating at the beginning of the year, they made their first official public appearance together at Glastonbury Festival in June 2025. Footage shared on TikTok showed the couple embracing while watching a performance, with Tomlinson's arms wrapped around McDermott.
According to friends, the pair spent much of the summer travelling before returning to the UK, where McDermott began using Tomlinson's home as her base. McDermott split from Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson in late 2024 after five years together.
