Prince Harry returned to Britain on Monday after a series of briefings between Buckingham Palace and his team. Speaking to CanadaCasino, Mr Harrold said: 'I do believe William would be having an ‘I told you so’ moment. William would have seen this coming, making this incredibly embarrassing for his father, who has yet again tried to offer Harry an olive branch. Harry has repeatedly slapped the King in the face, which is a great shame.'
Mr Harrold also expressed concerns that the last-minute change of plan indicates that Charles's relationship with his son has 'completely broken down'. He said: 'This is an extraordinary yet upsetting development. Harry is saying one thing, and the palace is saying another. This back and forth with contradicting statements feels like a throwback to where we were six years ago when Harry and Meghan announced they were stepping down as senior royals.'
