A group of tourists on the Isle of Man were left disappointed after being turned away from the Victorian Royal Chapel of St John's, which was closed for the wedding of Venezuela Fury, daughter of Tyson and Paris Fury, to Noah Price.
The 16-year-old bride wore an Italian lace wedding gown with a 50ft train, and the reception featured a performance by 1990s pop star Peter Andre. However, the event took a dramatic turn when four police cars reportedly rushed to the Comis Hotel near Douglas.
The chapel, located near the Fury family's Isle of Man home, was closed to the public on Saturday with a sign reading 'Sorry, church closed today.' A coach party of holidaymakers hoping to see the interior were turned away, with one passenger expressing disappointment at missing the chance to view the decorations.
Venezuela's age has sparked controversy, but her mother Paris defended the marriage, stating that Venezuela is mature for her years and that she herself was engaged at 17. Venezuela paid tribute to her father Tyson on her wedding day, calling him '1 in a million' and 'my best friend.'
