Tilly Ramsay has revealed that her father, Gordon Ramsay, often takes credit for meals she has prepared at home, saying he likes to "steal all the glory moments" in the kitchen.
The 24-year-old TV cook and social media influencer appeared on ITV's This Morning on Friday (August 21) to showcase her culinary skills. Cooking her one-pot lemon chicken orzo, she impressed hosts Angela Scanlon and Joel Dommett.
A Family Kitchen Dynamic
Joel remarked that Gordon must be "so proud" that Tilly has followed in his footsteps because she is "so good." Tilly agreed, confirming that they are "super close."
She explained: "We're quite funny in the kitchen together because we're both control freaks. We always want to do the same thing. He likes to come in and steal all the glory moments. You know like cooking a steak, I've got all the prep, I've got the salads done. He'll come in and fry it and present it to the table like 'this something I've cooked' but really I did it."
Joel laughed and said: "Stealing all of your glory, I love that!" Tilly replied: "Literally!"
Career and Family Projects
Tilly has frequently worked alongside her father on television and social media. She appeared with her dad and siblings on family shows including Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch before developing her own career in food and television.
She later joined Gordon as a judge on MasterChef Junior and has explored her own culinary projects, including her cooking series Dish It Out. Beyond the kitchen, she competed on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, paired with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin for the 19th series. She was the ninth celebrity to leave the competition, exiting just before the quarter-finals after a Samba dance-off against TV presenter Rhys Stephenson.
Away from television, she studied psychology at the University of Nottingham, graduating with a degree in the subject. This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
