The Sussex plea for "privacy" really is getting beyond a joke. After their recent visit to the UK, it has emerged that they took a "secret" trip to Tanera Moy, a remote Scottish island. The trip was so secret that not only have full details of their travels emerged, but we've even seen pictures of the boat they used to sail around the island.
Hypocrisy over privacy
There is absolutely no way this information could have emerged without Sussex's connivance, and yet this is the same Harry who recently lost a high-profile case against a newspaper, which he wrongly accused of hacking his phone, among other crimes. Haz himself is almost certainly too stupid to see the irony.
But the very next time he whinges about his privacy being invaded, someone should tell him to shut up.

Keith Urban is said to be devastated that his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, appears to have found new love with private-equity businessman Michael Reinstein; well, he shouldn't have walked out on her then. I can do no better than to quote my colleague Richard Madeley's very wise words when asked the secret of a long marriage: "Don't get divorced."
What on Earth has happened to the University of Cambridge? A huge row has blown up over Jason Arday, at 37, the youngest black person it has ever appointed professor, of sociology of education (the fact that such a subject exists at all at Cambridge says it all.) He has been accused of plagiarism, exaggerating claims of extreme physical prowess (he said he ran 600 miles in six days), and now even making up an appearance on the television series Seven Up, which was broadcast decades before he was born.
Cambridge under fire
What an absolute joke. As it happens, my father was a Cambridge-educated professor at Manchester University: he won a scholarship to Cambridge, achieved a double starred first, and, in his PhD, produced groundbreaking work in pure mathematics that changed the understanding of the subject.
History does not record Jason Arday doing any of this. I was also at Cambridge, and while my own academic record is nothing like my father's, I knew some brilliant people who aspired to and didn't get an Oxbridge professorship. Cambridge risks becoming a laughing stock unless it urgently addresses the questions surrounding Professor Arday.

Health and tech
You really cannot win. For years, I have prided myself on my very healthy, high-protein diet. Now, scientists have said that high-protein diets may kill you. Great. Bring on the chocolate. I give up.
So, I finally got to The Odyssey, and frankly, the scene where he goes to Hades reminded me of an ancient Greek version of Michael Jackson's Thriller. The sacking of Troy was powerful stuff, though. And spoiler alert. He gets home.
A new robot, Origin-F1, is so pretty, with such humanoid expressions, that some young men are claiming: "We'll be able to have a robot girlfriend that's out of our league." And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the end of the human race.
Showcasing humility
On the subject of The Odyssey, how hilarious that Matt Damon's stunt double turned out to be a 4'6 woman named Devyn Dalton. And how very gracious of him to acknowledge it. She "had the greatest arms I've ever seen," he said.
Some years ago, there was a big row when Natalie Portman starred in Black Swan. In that case, she had a ballet double called Sarah Lane, and there was a heated dispute about who had done how much of the actual dancing. Be Team Matt. When in doubt, self-deprecate.
