Sarah Ferguson has reportedly found a new hiding place after being forced to leave Royal Lodge, following the scandal surrounding her ex-husband Andrew's association with convicted paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Departure from Royal Lodge
Sarah and Andrew, who once called themselves the “happiest divorced couple in the world,” lived together at the Windsor estate for 20 years. However, after public outrage over Andrew's ties to Epstein, they were asked to leave the 30-room mansion, which they had occupied from 2004 to 2008.
Andrew has since moved to Marsh Farm, a smaller property in Norfolk. Sarah, on the other hand, has kept a low profile, with reports surfacing about her latest whereabouts.
Where is Sarah Now?
Some reports suggest Sarah is temporarily based in the United Arab Emirates, while others claim she is house hunting in London. She was left without a home after being evicted from Royal Lodge, and her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, could not offer her a permanent base, according to LBC.
A report from April indicated she was staying with friends in Austria and feared returning to the UK. In an “emotional” reunion, Beatrice and Eugenie reportedly visited their mother recently.
Financial Struggles
Sarah has grown “desperate,” reports Closer Magazine, after being forced out of Royal Lodge. A source told Closer that Sarah has begged her daughters to help her out of the “nightmare” situation.
The insider said: “Beatrice and Eugenie are in an absolutely terrible position because, at the end of the day and for all her faults and flaws, Sarah is still their mother and they love her and worry about her. When they saw her in Austria, it was incredibly emotional; Sarah didn’t even try to hide how desperate the situation has become. The money’s running out, the credit cards are at the limit, and so far, Andrew has had no luck securing any sort of extra help from Charles for her. It’s no wonder Sarah’s convinced the girls are the only ones she can turn to. She’s putting a lot of pressure on them to rescue her from this nightmare.”
