Sarah Ferguson 'sitting on gold mine' but may not cash in

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly in talks with streaming giants, including Netflix, about an explosive documentary, but royal experts suggest she may not proceed due to family concerns.

Documentary Talks and Potential Earnings

The former Duchess of York has been in the headlines after reports that she is in talks for a documentary about her life, including recent scandals. The programme, not yet confirmed, would give Sarah the chance to tell her story. No decisions have been made, and talks are ongoing.

If the documentary goes ahead, it is believed she could earn a significant sum. However, Sarah, 66, may not want to risk upsetting her relationship with her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, or her once-close relationship with King Charles.

Expert Opinions

On The Royals Uncensored show, TV presenter Mark Dolan said: "She’s still sitting on a gold mine, and that would be the tell-all book or the Netflix documentary series."

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011, said: "I think that relationship with her daughters, and her daughters are obviously still members of the Royal Family and involved with the King, that’s in the back of her mind."

Harrold added: "Even though she might think about doing these books and everything, I personally think she won't go that far because of her relationship with her daughters, and the King."

Royal Relations and Scandals

Sarah and King Charles were once good friends, but it is unknown if that remains the case. Following the Epstein files scandal last year, which revealed Sarah's continued contact with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the King has not invited her to royal events like Christmas at Sandringham or Easter services in Windsor.

It is unlikely she will be invited again. Notably, appearing in the Epstein files does not indicate wrongdoing, and Sarah has previously expressed regret over her friendship with Epstein.
