Sandringham Locals Furious Over Horrible Security Measures

Residents of Sandringham have expressed anger and concern over the security measures being implemented following the relocation of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, to the estate. Many locals feel that the increased security presence is disruptive and unwarranted.

Retired office worker Susan Larkins, 70, said: "It's way past time they stripped his titles. He's a horrible man. We don't want him up here." She added that the security measures are "over the top" and make the area feel like a fortress.

Vanessa Beech, from Docking, who was walking her dog at Sandringham, expressed worries about how the situation would be perceived. "Most of us aren't in their face. We let them live their lives. But I'm worried about other people, how they will perceive it," she said.

Retired carer Jackie Cruickshank, 72, commented: "He'll be hounded, won't he. They won't let it go now. What's that going to do?" She expressed hope that the photographers would not ruin the area, adding: "I just hope when he does come here they don't ruin it with all the photographers."

The former prince, whose association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein led to his downfall, has been stripped of his titles and HRH designation by King Charles. He now resides at Sandringham after vacating Royal Lodge in Windsor.
