Royal Mail has unveiled a new collection of stamps commemorating the conclusion of Netflix's hit sci-fi series, Stranger Things. The release follows the final episode's debut on New Year's Day in the UK and celebrates the show's global popularity since its 2016 premiere.
The 14-stamp set features illustrations by British artist Kyle Lambert, known for designing the series' iconic posters. Key characters include Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven, who appears on two stamps, alongside fan favourites such as Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, Will Byers, and Mike Wheeler.
The collection comprises two sheets of five stamps and a miniature sheet of four. The main sheets distinguish between the 'real world' (red background) and the 'Upside Down' (blue background), with each stamp depicting a scene from a different season. The miniature sheet captures the four main friends riding their 1980s-style bikes.
A unique feature allows hidden logos to be revealed under UV light, including the Hellfire Club emblem on Eddie Munson's stamp and the Scoops Ahoy logo on the stamp featuring Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. Other characters like Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers also feature.
David Gold, Royal Mail's director of external affairs and policy, said: 'We’re thrilled to celebrate Stranger Things with this striking stamp collection. Each design captures the essence of the series – from its unforgettable characters to the eerie imagery that has gripped audiences worldwide.'
The stamps are available for pre-order from Tuesday via the Royal Mail website and by phone, with a presentation pack priced at £24.70. General sale begins on January 13.
