Royal Mail has unveiled a special commemorative stamp collection to celebrate the conclusion of Netflix's globally adored sci-fi series, Stranger Things. The release marks the show's finale, which aired in the UK on New Year’s Day.
A Fitting Tribute to a Cultural Phenomenon
The collection comprises 14 stamps featuring illustrations by British artist Kyle Lambert, the creative mind behind the show's iconic poster art. It pays homage to the series that followed a group of children from the fictional town of Hawkins as they battled supernatural threats from an alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.
Fan-favourite characters take centre stage, with Millie Bobby Brown's psychokinetic Eleven appearing on two stamps. The ensemble also includes Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, and Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler. Other beloved figures such as Joseph Quinn's Eddie Munson and the duo of Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) are also featured.
Design Details and Hidden Secrets
The set is structured into two main sheets of five stamps each and a separate miniature sheet of four. The main sheets visually differentiate between the show's two realms: the 'real world' with a red background and the ominous 'Upside Down' with a blue backdrop. Scenes progress chronologically from the first to the fifth and final season.
The miniature sheet captures a nostalgic moment with the four core friends – Lucas, Will, Mike, and Dustin – riding their signature 1980s-style bicycles. A clever design feature allows hidden logos to be revealed under UV light. For instance, the Hellfire Club emblem appears on Eddie Munson's stamp, while the Scoops Ahoy logo is hidden on the stamp featuring Steve and Robin.
From Screen to Stamp: A Lasting Legacy
Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things first launched in 2016 and propelled its young cast to international fame. The franchise has expanded beyond television to include a stage play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, and an upcoming animated spin-off, cementing its place in popular culture.
David Gold, Royal Mail’s Director of External Affairs and Policy, said: "We’re thrilled to celebrate Stranger Things with this striking stamp collection. Each design captures the essence of the series – from its unforgettable characters to the eerie imagery that has gripped audiences worldwide."
The stamps and accompanying collectables are available for pre-order from Tuesday, 6th January 2026 via the Royal Mail shop online and by phone. A presentation pack containing all 14 stamps is priced at £24.70, with general sales beginning on 13th January.
