The majority of Daily Express readers have rejected the idea of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joining the Royal Family at Balmoral this summer, with a new poll showing 3,869 no votes against only 106 in favour.
The couple spent a few days in the UK last month, giving their children a chance to see their grandfather at Highgrove House. That visit has reignited questions about whether the Sussexes will return - and whether they might appear at Balmoral, where the King and Queen Camilla are due to travel within days.

In a Daily Express poll running from 9am on July 27 to 9.45am on August 1, 3,993 fans gave their verdict on whether Harry and Meghan should join the royals at Balmoral. Of those, 3,869 voted no, 106 voted yes, and 18 said they were unsure if the couple should bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

In the comment section, reactions were blunt. One fan wrote: “...They won’t come for anything without an ulterior motive...”
Another added: “I don’t think the rest of the Royals want Harry back and I can’t see the British public wanting him back...”
Speaking of the King’s recent meeting with the Sussexes, one added: “Charles got his meeting. There’s no reason to ruin the summer break for everyone else in the family!”
No shared Balmoral visit
The royal tradition of gathering at Balmoral was much loved by the late Queen Elizabeth II, and members of the family - including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh - could join the King there this year.
Harry and Meghan have never spent time together at Balmoral, the estate where the late Queen died in 2022.
