Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted which members of the Royal Family share the most similarities. With uncanny likenesses drawn among cousins, parents, or siblings, fans have also looked decades back through the family, even pointing out comparisons among ancestors.
Striking Resemblances Within the Family
Although it may seem obvious that people within the same family tend to look alike, some of the resemblances between these relatives are striking. From Prince William and his children to Princess Beatrice and Queen Victoria, you won't have to stare at the pictures for too long before you start to notice the similarities.
Prince William and Princess Charlotte
Princess Charlotte is said to look like her father. Fans have pointed out that the two often react with similar facial expressions amongst other uncanny resemblances. The List reports that in some photos of the two, it looks like Princess Charlotte's face has been "copied and pasted" from young William's face. From the shape of her eyes to her small button nose, Princess Charlotte has clearly inherited several of her father's features.
Lady Sarah Chatto and Princess Charlotte
Fans have compared the young Princess Charlotte to Lady Sarah Chatto. Lady Sarah is the late Princess Margaret's only daughter and shares a close bond with the monarch. Lady Sarah regularly attends family events with the rest of the royals. One person said on X: "The resemblance of Princess Charlotte with Lady Sarah Chatto is unbelievable. Windsor genes are so strong in Charlotte that she definitely inherited them. They practically look the same."
Princess Catherine and Prince Louis
With his brown eyes, brunette hair and sweet smile, Prince Louis is often said to look the most like Princess Catherine of all her children. Prince George and Princess Charlotte also share similar traits to their mother but Prince Louis is often compared to his mother the most. The prince is Catherine's youngest child.
Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood and Zara Tindall
If there were one lookalike pair that would certainly be very close to topping the list, it would be Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter, Zara Tindall, and Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood. Zara Tindall was born at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington to Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips. She is the younger sister of Peter Phillips and was the Queen's first granddaughter. Princess Mary was King George V and Queen Mary's only daughter, making her the late Queen's aunt.
