Royal reporter Jasmine Carey visited a special exhibition at Blenheim Palace and was impressed with what she saw, noting that it captivated visitors of all backgrounds.
Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition, titled Life Through a Royal Lens, features over 100 iconic photographs dating from Queen Victoria's reign to the present day. It includes official Coronation photos, family snaps, and previously unseen images.
Carey, who visited last Saturday, spent time in the Palace gardens and rooms, even glimpsing the room where Winston Churchill was born. She praised the exhibition's presentation, with boards of photographs displayed in a grand room.
Broad Appeal
Carey was surprised by the wide appeal of the exhibition, noting that even her fiancé, who is not typically interested in royal affairs, spent considerable time browsing. She observed many visitors genuinely captivated, taking their time to study the photographs.
Although the exhibition is not permanent at Blenheim Palace, which has been home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1705, it is available until September 27. It was first launched at Kensington Palace, the official London home of The Prince and Princess of Wales, and is now on a UK-wide tour.
Carey concludes that the exhibition is well worth a visit.
