Queen Camilla 'to shut door' on Meghan after reunion post

Queen Camilla is reportedly prepared to "shut the door" on Meghan Markle after her warnings about a private reunion with King Charles were ignored, according to a source. The Duchess of Sussex posted summer-themed photos in late July, including an image of Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet at what appeared to be Althorp Estate, the ancestral home of Princess Diana.

Warning Ignored

The Queen, who was reportedly present during Charles's first meeting with his grandchildren in four years last month, had been "very clear" that the couple should not share anything online about the visit, a source told New Idea. "Camilla's words appear to have fallen on deaf ears," the source said. "She feels that she was clear about no social media posts, and if Meghan thinks Althorp was an exception, she was very wrong."

The stipulation was primarily meant to keep the reunion private for Archie and Lilibet, the source added, but Meghan's breach could mean "the door would remain shut for her forever."

Birthday Video Sparks Criticism

The news follows Meghan's recent birthday celebration video, which drew criticism over her choice of attire. The Duchess, who turned 45 on Tuesday, was filmed dancing in the kitchen of the couple's Montecito mansion wearing a baggy t-shirt reading "It's Giving Mrs," while Prince Harry, 41, could be heard sighing "oh dear" in the background. Another clip showed the pair trying to put mini party hats on their dogs, Mamma Mia and Pula.

The royal couple spent the rest of the day relaxing with Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five. However, Meghan's style choice angered some within royal circles, a source claimed to Radar Online. "The clips were shared to give followers a glimpse of a relaxed birthday at home, but anything Meghan posts attracts intense scrutiny," the source said. "Some viewers thought the tiara was a fun birthday accessory, while others interpreted it differently because of her royal background – or rather, lack of it."
