Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, trick-or-treating in Santa Barbara, California, on Halloween. The family, who reside in a £14 million mansion in Montecito, visited a modest suburban street for the occasion.
Archie, six, wore an ant costume, while Lilibet, four, dressed as a fluorescent green firefly. Meghan coordinated with the bug theme, wearing colourful butterfly wings, a black tracksuit, and sunglasses. Harry opted for a casual look with a light blue baseball cap, navy polo shirt, and jeans, carrying water bottles.
The couple has previously spoken about Halloween's significance. In their Netflix docuseries, Meghan recalled a 2016 Halloween party where they enjoyed anonymity before their relationship became public. Harry noted in his memoir 'Spare' that he regretted dressing as a Nazi for a 2005 costume party, calling it one of his biggest mistakes.
The Sussexes have largely kept Archie and Lilibet out of the public eye since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. Occasional glimpses appear on Meghan's Instagram, often showing the children from behind. This outing marks the first public sighting since King Charles stripped Prince Andrew of his title.
